At only 19 years of age, Abbey Grace is already an Award Winning Singer/Songwriter from Melbourne, Australia.
With 300 songs already in the back catalogue, Abbey released her first EP in 2015 produced by Robert Sedky and distributed by VAS Entertainment.
In 2015 "Aftershock" made the No. 1 spot on Triple J's Unearthed Pop Charts, with "Burn" also sitting in the Top 20 at the same time.
In 2017 "The first and the last time" won the Folk/Acoustic category at the Australian Songwriters Association annual competition (in it's 37th year). It also placed 3rd in the Ballad section. Abbey accepted the award and performed the song live at the industry awards night in Sydney in front of music industry elite including Christine Anu, Casey Donovan, The Waifs, Colin Burgess and representations from Radio, Management and Record companies
In 2018 so far sees a new direction for Abbey with the song "Take me under" hitting Number 1 on the Triple J unearthed electronic charts for multiple weeks. A new EP will be released in the coming year.
The single "Burn" was written against bullying for the youth generation of today and has had critical acclaim across radio airplay, press and media. Through this single Abbey, at only 14 at the time; was one of the winners of the 2013 Music Count Us in Songwriting Competition across Australia where she worked with Katie Noonan and John Foreman on a song that was performed by over 500,000 Australian school children as part of a National music day.
Abbey also performed alongside winner of The Voice Harrison Craig at Federation Square and Hamer Hall as part of the promotions.
In 2015 Abbey again placed in the Top 10 with 2 songs in the ASA competition across Australia as well as being a semi-finalist in the ISC Worldwide competition.
In 2014 "Anyone Else" made the Top 10 of the Australian National Songwriting Competition. In addition through co-writing "This is the time" won a Highly Commended award through the Australian Childrens Foundation Songwriting Competition in 2012.
"Burn" also made the semi finals of the International Songwriting Competition in 2013 and 2014.

INTERNATIONAL & MUSIC TRAINING:
Abbey was the only Australian Vocalist/Songwriter hand picked to do intensive training at The Institute of Contemporary Music Performance in London in late 2014 where she co-wrote with members of Brit Award Winning Band Skunk Anansie. She also travelled to London to take part in a Songwriting Camp in 2017 and worked with award winning Songwriters in Nashville in 2018.
She has done extensive training with some of the best Vocal Coaches and Songwriting experts across the globe.
Abbey is trained by Vocal Art Studios, Melbourne's Award Winning Singing, Music & Entertainment School where she is part of the Talent Development Program and has performed and trained across Australia, London and America. In addition to Vocals, she also plays Piano & Guitar.
In 2018 Abbey graduated with distinction the Diploma in Music Performance through RSL Awards, London (managed by AMEB in Australia). She is also studying Composition at Melbourne University.
YOUTH AMBASSADOR & CHARITY:
Abbey has been a proud Youth Ambassador for Headspace since 2014 as well as being a headline performer for Relay for Life and other community events across Victoria.
